Studio separate sleeping area reddit2/29/2024 ![]() It would be really nice to have separate bedrooms, as we have a small bedroom and have major struggles over dresser/closet space and I can imagine many couples do not share the same decorating style. Also: I really want to separate my bed from the rest of the studio, what would you all suggest I want to get a standing wardrobe/garment rack and maybe add a. ![]() ![]() Two years ago, the one-bedroom apartment next to my old studio came on the market - we snatched it up and promptly knocked out both the kitchen wall AND the bedroom wall(!), making it essentially a 750 square foot studio with two uninterrupted walls of windows overlooking the park and the lake. Just because you might have separate bedrooms doesnt mean you are sleeping apart. Looking for advice on how to define the spaces. Ive never lived in a studio before, so I was wondering how you would combat the sleeping/living area conundrum, and keep it looking good and not just like a big bedroom basically. My husband and I have a large two-bedroom apartment now, and we still ignore the living room in favor of hanging in the bedroom. A lot of the studios I looked up had living/sleeping spaces adjacent to each other with the kitchen separate but this one below sleeping area is directly in front of the kitchen which I’m not sure about. Im moving from a 1200 sf 1 bed 1 bath to a 528 sf studio apartment. I never used the couch - it was more of a nod to company who preferred to sit there - and still don't. It was the biggest bedroom I had ever had(!), although I had both a couch and a double bed. As an adult I continued to primarily "live" in the bedroom of my apartments, finally landing in a 525 square foot studio overlooking the park and the lake that remains my favorite apartment to this day. Three out of four years in college I "scored" a double-room as a single (read: no roommate), so the trend continued. I'm an only kid, who had a master bedroom purloined from the apartment next door for my bedroom - it was much larger than the average "kids" room and I spent many happy hours playing there as a child. I didn't mind the bed in my studio apartment at all. So I’m currently studying to become a nail tech and I’m hoping for some advice on how to set it up in my home.
